Is this a medicine?
No. The Lip Patch is a cosmetic lip care product designed to hydrate, condition and support cold sore-prone lips. It is not an antiviral medicine and does not treat or cure the herpes simplex virus.
How do I use it?
Place the white side of the patch onto clean, dry lip skin. Add a few drops of clean water to activate, then gently press or massage for 5–10 seconds while the nanofibres dissolve. Once dissolved, remove and discard the backing.
How often should I use it?
Use one patch twice daily, morning and night, during a flare-up.
When should I start using the patches?
They’re designed to support cold sore-prone lips during visible flare-ups. Use them as part of your lip-care routine whenever the targeted area needs extra hydration and conditioning.
Can I use it with the Rescue Mist and Lysine Lip Serum?
Yes. Use the Lysine Lip Healing Patch first. Once the nanofibres have dissolved and you've removed the backing, follow with the Rescue Mist and then your Lysine Lip Serum. Reapply the Mist and Serum throughout the day as needed.
Can I use the same patch more than once?
No. Each patch is designed as a hygienic, single-use treatment. Use a fresh patch for each application.
Will anyone be able to see it?
You don't need to wear it around. Activate the patch with water, allow the nanofibres to dissolve and remove the backing. Once the delivery step is complete, remove the paper patch backing so there is nothing visibly left sitting over your lip.
